Equilibrium Architects
Our approach to environmental issues is simple: we consider them in everything we do.
This is not as an additional ‘green box’ to tick, it is as a fundamental part of our business: its processes and procedures. Our carbon footprint, our commitment to the war on plastic, our sourcing of local and environmentally sustainable materials and our ‘green credentials’ are all as much a part of our every day as bricks and mortar.
Our approach is simple - but effective...
Vision
The ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.
Design
A plan or drawing produced to show the look and function or workings of a building before it is built.
Delivery
The act of completion – on time, to budget.
Our yardstick for architectural environmental friendliness is BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method).
First published by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) in 1990, it is the world’s longest established method of assessing, rating, and certifying the sustainability of buildings.
Our Team
Experience, knowledge and flair are vital qualities to have in architecture. However, we believe that the most important attribute is actually the ability to listen. Our team prides itself on being approachable, flexible and customer-focused.
